Duties
Assist skilled installers with the setup and installation of gutters on residential and commercial properties, ensuring precise alignment and secure fastening. Handle various hand tools and power tools safely to cut, shape, and install gutter components according to project specifications. Support the preparation of job sites by clearing debris, setting up scaffolding or ladders, and organizing materials for efficient workflow. Learn to read blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to understand project requirements and assist with measurements. Participate in site inspections to ensure safety protocols are followed and work meets quality standards. Help with related tasks such as caulking, trim carpentry, or fixture installation as needed to support overall project completion. Contribute to a positive team environment by communicating effectively with crew members and supervisors throughout each project.
Experience
No previous experience required—training will be provided on all tools, safety procedures, and installation techniques. Basic familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and construction site environments is a plus but not mandatory. Interest or background in construction management, blueprint reading, or related trades such as roofing, masonry, or carpentry is beneficial. Knowledge of schematics or ability to interpret technical drawings enhances your ability to assist effectively.
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
