Title: Senior SAP BI specialist with BW/HANA

Location: New York, NY

Hybrid role with ONSITE for 3Days/Week

Job Description:

·         SAP BW modelling with respect to SAP HANA using composite providers, Advance DSOs, ODP, LSA and using BW objects exposed as HANA views.

·         Data sourcing for HANA modelling [Extraction, Transformation and Load (ETL) jobs in BODS/SLT for transferring data from SAP and non-SAP systems]

·         Design of SAP HANA data modelling objects [using Attribute View, Analytic View, Calculation View, Scripted views, Procedures, Table functions and Triggers],

·         Analysis, design and modeling for the main SAP functional areas: Accounting (FI), Fund Management (FM), Grants (GM), Budgets Planning and consolidation (BPC).

·         Development of ABAP-programmed CDS views in Gateway Front End and Back End Servers.

·         Development of HANA Design time repository objects and HANA Hierarchies using standard and advanced HANA 2.0 functionalities.

·         Design, implement, and monitor of SAP SLT replication schemas in SAP HANA [real time synchronization].

·         Monitoring/reviewing the quality and integrity of the reporting objects, including optimization of HANA model performance by analyzing Expensive Statement Trace, SQL Plan Cache, Runtime Statistics, Plan Visualization Etc.

SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

·         At least ten years of experience on development of Data Modelling and BI in SAP [HANA, HANA Live Content and BW/BI] with experience on end-to-end BW on HANA implementation.

·         At least 5 years of experience on BI development and reporting for the wider SAP Finance areas.

·      [particularly, Accounting (FI); Funds Management (FM); Grants (GM); and BPC].

·         Experience shall include review of functional specifications for queries and other objects for BW/HANA Data Models, designing/creating Info Objects, Info Sources, Transfer structures, Communication structures, Standard and Custom Info Cubes, Data Store Object (DSO).

·         Implementing SAP BW on HANA-specific modelling [like Composite Providers and exposing BW objects in HANA Views, Operational Data Provisioning, LSA , etc.] and developing and handling of hybrid scenarios - BW data models and HANA views [Schemas and tables on HANA, attribute view, analytical view and Calculation views].

·         Experience managing SAP BW tables in HANA distribution environment and integration of BW/BO/HANA.

·         Extensive experience in Data extraction from SAP and non-SAP source systems, including BODS, SLT and data transformation in SAP BW.

·         Experience in Data loading, Monitoring and Scheduling using Process Chain.

·         Expertise in design and build of reports [WEB Intelligence Reporting, Crystal reports, Open Hub Concept, including documenting the design and analysis of reports using Analysis Workspace.

·         Experience with BEX Analyzer to build Queries using Filters, Variables, Structures, Restricted Key Figures, Calculated Key Figures, Conditions, Exceptions and aggregation for reusable queries.

·         Experience on HANA XS Advanced Runtime with exposure to microservices architecture with support to multi language runtimes like Node.js, Java, C including the setup of XSA identity provider.

·         Experience on SAP User Interface application using SAPUI5, FIORI with integration to data sources using Data Services, CDS view, etc.

·         Basic understanding of the related administration of SAP Systems, particularly R/3 and ECC 6.0, and including security for BI.

·         Advanced ABAP programming, BADI, User Exits.
