We have an opportunity for a seasoned buyer to join our purchasing team. Primary product lines include molding, hardwood lumber and finish lumber. This is a management level position that oversees all facets of these product lines. Responsibilities include:
Ganahl Lumber Company is the oldest lumberyard and hardware supply store in California. Since 1884, we have been a family- and employee-owned business providing building supplies and hardware for pro contractors and DIY enthusiasts alike. Our products include lumber, tools, paint, building materials, millwork, doors, and windows. With 11 convenient store locations, we serve customers throughout the greater Los Angeles area.

- Sourcing and Procurement – Evaluate, utilize and manage suppliers that will profitably support our programs.
- Inventory Management – Manage stock levels that allow for high fill rates, strong metrics and provide optimum buying volume.
- Market Analysis – Expert in market trends with respect to product category responsibility.

- Five years in lumber purchasing or equivalent experience.
