We are a unique center in that we are located within a vibrant community, attached to an elementary school and community center. This provides lots of opportunities for enrichment and collaboration.
Our Reggio-inspired child care program is seeking a full time educator to join our team in the summer or fall of 2026. This will be a co-teaching position that incorporates the Vermont Early Learning Standards into curriculum to foster independence, life skills, social-emotional competency and a positive outlook towards school. We operate year round, but offer several paid days off each month, two week long vacations and multiple professional development days throughout the year all in addition to paid personal time.
We are seeking a compassionate, energetic, and skilled teacher to join our team. This role focuses on creating a safe, loving, and stimulating environment where each child can thrive socially, emotionally, and cognitively.
Responsibilities:
- Build strong, trusting relationships with children and their families.
- Design and implement an emerging curriculum aligned with children's interests and developmental levels.
- Foster social-emotional growth through modeling, guided interactions, and supportive routines.
- Collaborate with colleagues on classroom management, lesson planning, and school events.
- Maintain a consistent schedule and high level of professionalism.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment.
- Document and communicate developmental progress to parents.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and staff meetings.

Qualifications:
Required:
- All applicants must be at least 20 years old with a High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 1 year experience working with young children.
Preferred:
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field.
- Familiarity with or openness to learning about Jewish holidays, rituals, and values.
- Knowledge of Reggio Emilia, Montessori, or other child-centered pedagogies.
- CPR and First Aid certification.
Compensation: This is a salaried position ranged: $38,500- $42,500 dependent on experience/credentials.
