Our 5-Star preschool program seeks dedicated and enthusiastic Teachers to join the team! We are a preschool seeking someone who creates a nurturing and stimulating environment where children of all ages can learn, explore, and thrive.
The two positions available are:
Preschool Room (ages 3-4 yrs)-Mon-Fri- 9:00am-5:00pm

Gan Shalom Preschool offers:
- Shift Hours: 9:00am-5:00pm, no weekends!
- 10 month program August-May (summers off!)

Teacher Responsibilities Include:
- Help maintain our 5-Star rating
- Follow state licensing requirements
- Attend in-service and staff development trainings (15 required PD hours per year)
- Developing and implementing engaging lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards.
- Managing classroom behavior effectively and creating a positive learning environment.
- Assessing children's progress and communicating with parents.
Qualifications:
- CDA, CCCC, Associate’s / Bachelor’s Degree or higher, relating to childcare
- Prefer a minimum of 6 months of experience working with children
- Must pass a criminal background check
- Negative TB skin test
- Flexible and energetic
- Strong multi-tasker
- Excellent communication and people skills
