About the Opportunity:
A nationally recognized law firm is seeking a mid-level Private Equity M&A Associate to join its growing national practice in Dallas, TX. This opportunity offers exposure to sophisticated private equity and M&A transactions representing financial sponsors, portfolio companies, founders, and investors across a wide range of industries.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience advising clients in the health care services sector, including post-acute care, professional practices, digital health, and innovative healthcare business models. This role is ideal for attorneys who thrive in a collaborative, technology-enabled environment and are interested in cutting-edge work at the intersection of private equity, healthcare, innovation, and AI-driven business design.
Responsibilities:
• Represent private equity sponsors, portfolio companies, founders, and investors in complex M&A transactions
• Draft, review, and negotiate purchase agreements and related transaction documents
• Advise clients on healthcare services transactions and evolving business models
• Manage due diligence processes and coordinate transaction execution
• Support joint ventures and strategic healthcare partnerships
• Collaborate with cross-office teams in a process-driven and technology-enabled practice
• Work directly with clients on sophisticated transactional matters
• Utilize innovative legal technologies and process improvement strategies in deal execution
Qualifications:
✔ 3–4 years of Private Equity and M&A experience
✔ Prior experience at an Am Law 100 or 200 firm preferred
✔ Strong background handling sophisticated M&A transactions
✔ Experience in healthcare services transactions strongly preferred
✔ Excellent analytical, drafting, communication, and problem-solving skills
✔ Ability to manage transactions independently while working collaboratively
✔ Interest in innovation, legal technology, and AI-driven business models is a plus
✔ JD from an ABA-accredited law school and active bar admission required

💰 Compensation: $250,000 – $365,000 annually (based on experience and market factors), along with discretionary bonus opportunities and a comprehensive benefits package.
