Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking General Laborer to support an apartment complex renovation project. This role involves assisting skilled trades, performing a variety of physical tasks, and helping maintain a safe, clean, and efficient job site. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong work ethic, dependability, and the ability to collaborate effectively with team members. No previous construction experience required. This position offers an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in residential renovations and construction workflows.
Responsibilities
- Assist with apartment renovation tasks, including demolition, cleanup, and material handling
- Support skilled tradesmen as needed
- Operate hand tools and power tools
- Load, unload, and move construction materials, tools, and debris
- Assist with basic installation and repair work under supervision
- Work collaboratively with supervisors and team members to meet project deadlines
Qualifications
- Previous experience in construction, renovation, or general labor preferred, but not required
- Familiarity with hand tools and basic power tools
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team
- Willingness to learn and grow within team
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Willingness to travel (per diem eligible)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 50 per week
