We have an ample portfolio of online and mobile games at our command, including a variety of leading MMO role playing and strategy games. Our company focuses primarily on games operations in the European and American markets. With millions of registered users and a broad range of gaming portals, gamigo US is one of the leading providers in the gaming sector. 

Gamigo US is looking for an Associate Program Manager. The Associate Program Manager will report directly to the Director of Game Development, facilitating cross department communication and prioritization. Assist in maintaining gamigo US game portfolio roadmaps and schedules, supporting and unblocking game teams to drive content production, as well as assisting department leaders in management/administrative layer tasks as needed. The ideal candidate is a great communicator, an organized fast learner, and a problem solver with a can-do attitude.  

Your Tasks

  • Represent game development department in cross-departmental meetings  
  • Facilitate cross team and cross department communication and collaboration 
  • Work together with department directors and game producers to maintain and update game portfolio development roadmap and game content development schedule 
  • Help product leads maintain organized documentation for scheduling and task management 
  • Support game producers in driving content development, unblock the team from potential issues or escalate potential issues to the leads 
  • Assist Executive Producers, Directors, and Chief Game Officer in management/administrative layer tasks as needed 

Requirements

  • Have 1-2 years of program management/project management/production experience, preferably in video game industry or software development 
  • Willingness to wear many hats and work on a wide variety of projects as needed by upper management 
  • Have very strong interpersonal skills and communication ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, with people at all levels in the organization 
  • Organized and have a strong sense of ownership 
  • Have strong problem-solving skills and a data-driven decision making mindset 
  • Able to work with multiple projects and/or priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment 
  • Have a strong process-oriented mentality to help teams run more efficiently 
  • Have working knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)  

Preferences 

  • Have strong interest and passion for video games 
  • Have experience with working on projects/programs across multiple time zones 
  • Have working knowledge and experience with project management and collaboration tools (Atlassian Jira, Atlassian Confluence, Microsoft Project) 
  • Familiar with business analytics tools (Tableau, Kibana)
