GameTime Hobby Shop is looking for a passionate, detail-oriented Sales Associate with extensive knowledge of the sports card hobby. If you follow the market daily, enjoy researching and pricing cards, and take pride in accuracy and organization, we'd love to hear from you.
This role is ideal for someone who genuinely loves collecting, trading, and learning about sports cards. Much of the work involves researching, documenting, and pricing inventory, so attention to detail and hobby knowledge are essential.
Responsibilities
- Research sports cards using current market data and industry resources.
- Accurately identify, price, and document cards in spreadsheets and inventory systems.
- Perform high-volume data entry while maintaining exceptional accuracy.
- Evaluate card trade-ins remotely (when assigned) and provide pricing recommendations for in-store offers.
- Prepare, package, and ship cards safely and professionally when directed by management.
- Assist with inventory organization and quality control.
- Stay current on market trends, player performance, product releases, and pricing fluctuations.
- Communicate professionally with managers and team members regarding inventory and pricing decisions.
Qualifications
- Strong passion for sports cards and the trading card hobby.
- Deep understanding of the current sports card market, including modern and vintage cards.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Comfortable researching pricing using multiple marketplaces and sales data.
- Strong computer skills and experience with spreadsheets and data entry.
- Ability to work independently and manage assigned tasks efficiently.
- Reliable, dependable, and able to meet deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience buying, selling, vending, or trading sports cards.
- Previous experience working at card shows, hobby shops, or online marketplaces (eBay, Whatnot, Fanatics Collect, etc.).
- Experience evaluating collections and making purchase or trade offers.
- Familiarity with grading companies such as PSA, BGS, SGC, and CGC.
- Experience shipping valuable collectibles safely and securely.

Schedule: Flexible (full-time and part-time opportunities may be available).
Location: GameTime Hobby Shop office (with some remote pricing responsibilities as assigned).
Pay: From $19.00 per hour
