Director of Warehouse Operations

Job Description:

The Director of Warehouse Operations is responsible for leading all aspects of warehouse operations for our rapidly growing business. This role oversees fulfillment, shipping/receiving, and inventory control to ensure smooth, efficient, and accurate delivery of goods through the supply chain. The Director of Warehouse Operations will lead a team of warehouse associates, set performance standards, and drive operational excellence to support a world-class customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all day-to-day warehouse activities, including fulfillment, shipping/receiving, and inventory management.
• Develop, document, and enforce Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistency, accuracy, and safety.
• Supervise, train, and mentor warehouse and fulfillment staff; promote a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and maintain a clean, organized, and efficient warehouse environment.
• Monitor shipping performance, accuracy, and timeliness to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure timely reconciliation with internal systems.
• Implement cycle counting and stock auditing processes to minimize shrinkage and discrepancies.
• Work with procurement and operations teams to forecast inventory needs and manage stock levels.
• Ensure all products from individual trading cards to sealed cases are properly organized, labeled, and stored.
• Track and report on key performance metrics (accuracy, throughput, cost efficiency, etc.).
• Identify and implement improvements in warehouse layout, picking methods, and material handling.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations, Customer Support, and Purchasing teams to resolve logistical challenges.

Qualifications

• 8 years of experience in warehouse or logistics management, including supervisory experience.
• Strong understanding of e-commerce fulfillment, shipping operations, and inventory control.
• Proficiency in warehouse management and shipping software.
• Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods. 
• Experience with ERP/WMS tools/systems

Preferred Qualifications:

• Background in lean warehousing or process improvement methodologies.
• Experience scaling warehouse operations for high-volume e-commerce businesses.

Salary Range:  $100,000 - $150,000
