Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated Medical Assistant (MA) to join our clinic. As an MA at Gameday Men’s Health, you will play a vital role in ensuring a smooth and efficient patient experience. You’ll be working alongside a dedicated team of healthcare professionals to support our patients’ health needs, assist with procedures, and provide top-notch customer service.
We are currently open four days a week, with plans to transition to five days a week within one month as we continue to grow and expand our services to better serve the Midland and West Texas community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with patient intake, including taking vitals, reviewing medical history, and ensuring all information is up to date
- Prepare and maintain exam rooms, ensuring they are stocked and sanitized
- Administer injections, collect blood samples, and assist with lab work as needed
- Provide patient education on treatments, procedures, and general health information
- Assist with patient scheduling, including follow-ups, appointment reminders, and rescheduling
- Coordinate with the healthcare team to ensure all treatments and therapies are executed smoothly
- Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with all HIPAA guidelines
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient interactions in the electronic medical record (EMR) system
- Support daily clinic operations, including inventory management and handling patient inquiries
Qualifications:
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or equivalent (preferred but not required)
- Strong understanding of medical terminology, procedures, and office operations
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Professional demeanor with a passion for providing excellent patient care
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting, especially in men’s health or related fields, is a plus
