Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly and efficient manner, ensuring a positive first impression.
- Manage reservations and waitlists effectively to optimize seating arrangements.
- Address guest inquiries and concerns with professionalism, enhancing overall guest relations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including tables, utensils, and menus.
- Uphold restaurant policies regarding health and safety standards, ensuring compliance at all times.
Experience
- Previous experience as a host/host or server in a restaurant setting is preferred.
- Strong background in food service or hospitality, demonstrating an understanding of guest services.
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on phone etiquette when handling reservations or inquiries.
- Familiarity with POS systems is advantageous; experience with Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus.
