Independent Sales Representative for Game Show Events

Overview

Game Show Nite Productions is seeking an independent sales rep to sell our premium event entertainment to conventions, conferences, and meetings in the Greater Phoenix/Scottsdale region. This is a commission-only position with a high commission of 20% gross. Our most commonly booked packages sell for between $900 and $2400. This is a highly autonomous job with great flexibility, low quotas, and moderate time commitment; a great opportunity for side income.

Responsibilities

• Actively prospect new clients through cold calling, networking, and targeted outreach to generate leads for game show event bookings.
• Identify meetings, conferences, and conventions being held in the Greater Phoenix/Scottsdale, Arizona area through various avenues including searching aggregated lists/calendars of upcoming regional events.
• Identify and contact appropriate parties at organizations and companies holding these events/conferences, through online research or other avenues.
• Develop and nurture strong relationships with local event organizers, production companies, and venue partners such as hotels, conference centers, and chambers of commerce to secure ongoing business opportunities.
• Contact local businesses and groups who might have interest in our services for in-office meetings, holiday parties, and other events.
• Reach out to entities outside the Arizona region who might have interest in our remote/virtual event offerings.
• Develop a complete understanding of our events so you can answer any and all questions about our services.
• Manage the entire sales cycle from initial contact to deal closing, ensuring a seamless customer experience.
• Utilize CRM systems such as Salesforce to track leads and manage customer accounts.
• Meet or exceed sales goals by consistently closing deals and expanding our presence in the corporate events market.

Requirements

• Strong proficiency with CRM systems like Salesforce and sales management tools to manage customer relationships effectively.
• Demonstrated success in B2B sales.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate value propositions and negotiate effectively.
• Self-motivated with a proactive approach to managing customer accounts and achieving sales targets.
• The ability to work autonomously and answer unique questions from clients about their events - and make adjustments on the fly.
• A positive demeanor to match our brand.

We collect a 50% deposit on each event; you will be paid monthly for all clients you’ve closed who’ve made their deposit in that month.
