Senior Cyber Security Engineer (NYC Hybrid, 3 Days In Office)
A New York City financial technology team is looking for a Senior Cyber Security Engineer with at least 10 years of real engineering experience. This is a hands-on role that builds, automates, and improves enterprise security, not a policy-only gig.
What you’ll tackle
• Design and implement enterprise security controls across complex environments
• Build and automate security workflows using Python (object oriented, not just quick scripts)
• Engineer integrations and automations within either Swimlane (SOAR) or CyberArk
• Partner with infrastructure, security operations, cloud, and app teams to solve real technical problems
• Dive into deep technical reviews, troubleshoot tricky issues, and strengthen the overall security architecture
What you bring
• 10 years of engineering experience in cyber security
• Strong Python development background using OO principles
• Expertise with either Swimlane SOAR or CyberArk
• Ability to communicate with sharp stakeholders and simplify the complex
• A mindset focused on automation, scalability, and building things the right way
Location
Hybrid New York City. Three days per week in the office. The team is collaborative and the work is highly technical, so being onsite matters.
