What are the responsibilities and job description for the Home Aide LNA PCA $25/hr. Monday pm, Tuesday pm, every other Saturday Sunday am pm position at Gamache Household?
A part time position is available in Chichester for a Home health aide, LNA or PCA, every other weekend and Monday and Tuesday evenings, assisting a quadriplegic man in his home with a variety of tasks related to personal care and housekeeping. The pay is $25 per hour for personal care. This is not offered through a home health agency. You will be an employee of the household.
The personal care shifts are as follows: Monday and Tuesday nights from 7:00 PM until 12:00 AM
And every other weekend:
Saturday and Sunday morning from 7 AM until 11 AM
Saturday and Sunday night from 7 PM until 12 AM
The personal care duties include but are not limited to the following: operating a patient lift (Hoyer style lift) to transfer him from a power wheelchair to bed and from a power wheelchair to a shower chair, assisting with dressing, assisting with toileting, assisting with showering, assisting with grooming, performing range of motion exercises, and various other activities (ADLs) related to personal care.
In addition to personal care, cooking, and meal preparation are also a part of this job. There are also additional hours of work doing more extensive cooking and cleaning. If you are interested in these extra hours, please mention it at the interview.
All applicants will be subject to criminal and other background checks and all applicants must have a clean criminal record, driving record, a drivers license and transportation. Experience is preferred, but applicants with limited PCA / LNA / Home health aide experience or other relevant experience may be considered and training is provided. All applicants must be available for several weekday / weekend mornings and nights for a two week training period.
