Responsibilities
- Safely operate various delivery vehicles, including box trucks and step vans.
- Plan and follow efficient delivery routes to maximize productivity while maintaining punctuality. Road warrior app provided for route optimization.
- Interact professionally with customers during deliveries, providing excellent customer service and addressing any questions or concerns courteously.
- Verify deliveries against shipment manifests, ensuring accuracy in loading, unloading, and documentation.
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform routine inspections to ensure optimal operation; report any mechanical issues promptly.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or courier, with box trucks or similar commercial vehicles preferred.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience driving.
- Ability to lift/handle heavy items up to 120lbs regularly.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional attitude.
- Must undergo background screening and drug test including marijuana.
