Salary: PRIMARY EMPLOYMENT OBJECTIVESAssemble and test of all product that are released to the production floor. Follow all work instructions in order to ensure a safe work environment and quality is being achieved throughout the production process. Perform other Engineering support tasks as directed.SPECIFIC ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIESAssemble and test all electromechanical assemblies per work instructions.Assemble and test custom-made cables per work instructions.Accurately record work performed and required measurements per manufacturing instructions.Abide by all processes established within the work cell to safely complete all tasks.Maintain a clean work area daily.Perform other duties as assigned.Knowledge, Skill & Experience Requirements1-3 years of experience in electromechanical and cable assembly in a manufacturing environment.Solder Certification IPC-A-610 or J-STD-001 required.Ability to follow work instructions, drawings, wire diagrams, etc. required.Ability to use basic hand tools in a production environment.Willing and able to safely complete all given tasks in order to reach the team/company goals.Individual must be able to maintain professionalism while working in a strong team environment.Strong organizational skills and self-management of daily tasks are required.Work environment (include physical requirements) Manufacturing and Engineering lab environmentsMust wear safety glasses while working in the manufacturing area.Able to display long periods of sitting, standing, and repetitive motion.Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.**THIS IS A 4 MONTH PLUS CONTRACT BASED IN PORTSMOUTH, NH.**Galvion provides equal employment opportunities (EEO) to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, genetic information, marital status, amnesty, or status as a covered veteran in accordance with applicable federal, state and local laws.
