Physical Therapist (PT) - PRN
Location: Galveston, TX
Pay: $55–$60/hour
Galveston Nursing & Rehabilitation is hiring a PRN Physical Therapist to support an in-house therapy team focused on resident mobility, recovery, and long-term function.
This role offers the flexibility of PRN scheduling while keeping you actively involved in evaluations, care planning, and ongoing collaboration with therapy, nursing, and the interdisciplinary team.
Your role as a Physical Therapist:
- Evaluate residents and contribute to individualized plans of care
- Identify mobility limitations, fall risk, and safety concerns
- Establish functional goals that support safe movement and independence
- Collaborate with PTAs and the therapy team to carry out treatment plans
- Adjust care based on resident progress and clinical presentation
Where your work makes a difference:
- Supporting residents as they regain strength and mobility following hospitalization
- Improving safety with transfers, gait, and overall movement throughout the building
- Contributing to discharge planning for residents working toward returning home
- Helping long-term residents maintain function and reduce risk of decline
- Playing a key role in maintaining mobility and quality of life for residents day to day

What we’re looking for:
- Active Texas PT license
- Skilled nursing or post-acute experience preferred
