JOB SUMMARY:
This position is responsible for the managing of digital evidence relating to the Sheriff’s Office Crime Records & Analysis Division. It provides support to the Investigators, District and County Courts, District Attorney’s Office and Legal Department.
COMPLEXITY/SCOPE OF WORK
- The work consists of varied tasks associated with video and audio technology.
- The purpose of this position is to assist in the availability and preparation of video/audio evidence. Success in this position results in the successful prosecution of criminal cases.
- This position responds to Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Successful applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Knowledge and level of competency commonly associated with the completion of specialized training in the occupational field, in addition to basic skills typically associated with a high school education.
- High School Diploma/GED.
- Valid Texas Driver’s License.
- Ability to pass a Criminal Background check.
- Excellent organization and office procedure skills
- Ability to effectively multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with the public
