This is a part-time on-site role for a Certified Nurse Aide Instructor at Galveston College, located in Dickinson, TX. The instructor will be responsible for teaching and mentoring students in the Nurse Aide program, preparing lesson plans and instructional materials in compliance with program requirements, evaluating student progress, and providing a supportive learning environment. Additional responsibilities include ensuring alignment with state and federal regulations, maintaining up-to-date instructional records, and collaborating with staff to enhance program effectiveness.
- Experience and expertise in nursing education or healthcare settings, as well as the ability to mentor and inspire students.
- Strong communication, organization, and time management skills to effectively deliver and manage instructional content.
- Familiarity with state and federal guidelines related to nurse aide training programs and the ability to maintain compliance.
- A current Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) license or Registered Nurse (RN) license is strongly preferred.
- Teaching experience in nursing or healthcare and an associate, bachelor’s, or higher degree in a related field is beneficial.
