About The Role
The Area Sales Manager (ASM) is responsible for leading end-to-end sales activities for Galvanize Therapeutics technologies within an assigned territory. This role includes driving capital sales, program development, clinical adoption, customer support, and market development initiatives. The ASM partners closely with physicians, hospital administrators, and clinical staff to manage complex sales processes, support product implementation, and increase procedural utilization.
The ideal candidate is collaborative, results-oriented, clinically credible, and demonstrates high integrity, strong business acumen, and customer influence skills. This individual must effectively build long-term customer relationships, lead technical and clinical product discussions, and work cross-functionally to deliver exceptional customer outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic business plans to achieve territory sales and utilization objectives.
- Manage the full sales cycle, including prospecting, capital program discussions, contract negotiation, implementation, and post-sale adoption support.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clinical and economic stakeholders to understand customer needs and align solutions to clinical and business goals.
- Lead clinical and technical product demonstrations, physician education, and case support activities to drive customer adoption and utilization.
- Collaborate with sales leadership, clinical teams, and professional education to execute successful customer implementations and market development initiatives.
- Conduct customer business reviews and support Centers of Excellence development, referral education, and market awareness activities.
- Maintain expert-level product, industry, and competitive knowledge to effectively position Galvanize Therapeutics technologies.
- Demonstrate professionalism, accountability, and a coachable mindset while contributing positively within a matrixed team environment.
Education and Training:

- Proven ability to manage complex sales processes involving multiple healthcare stakeholders.
- Strong clinical aptitude with the ability to communicate technical and disease-state knowledge to physicians.
- Demonstrated success influencing customers and driving adoption in hospital and ASC environments.
- Excellent customer relationship management and collaboration skills.
- Results-oriented self-starter with strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication abilities.
- High integrity and professionalism with the ability to work effectively in high-pressure environments.
- Receptive to coaching and continuous professional development.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and communicate effectively with leadership and cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work in regulated environments compliant with ISO 13485 and 21 CFR 820.
- Comfortable supporting live patient cases and wearing required protective equipment.
- This is a remote position. Candidates are ideally located within within the Los Angeles area. Relocation assistance not offered for this role.
- Ability to travel 50% or more.
Compensation
- $145,000 base salary with a variable compensation plan and monthly car allowance
