Job Overview: We are seeking a responsible, energetic, and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our team. This individual will oversee the receipt, stocking, and dispatch of materials, maintain accurate inventory records, coordinate deliveries to clients, ensure a clean and organized work environment, and supervise warehouse workers to ensure adherence to safety protocols. The ideal candidate will be bilingual (English/Spanish) to communicate with clients, physically capable of handling warehouse duties, and a strong team player.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise incoming deliveries: inspect, verify, and organize new materials upon arrival.
- Stock materials in their designated locations accurately and efficiently.
- Monitor outgoing shipments to ensure correct and timely dispatch to clients.
- Coordinate with sales team on schedule for deliveries to clients, ensuring punctuality and professionalism.
- Maintain up-to-date and accurate inventory records; perform regular inventory counts.
- Ensure the warehouse is clean, organized, and free of safety hazards.
- Oversee warehouse workers to ensure they are following safety protocols and wearing appropriate safety gear.
- Assist with the loading and unloading of materials as needed.
- Communicate effectively with the sales and operations teams regarding inventory levels and needs.
- Identify and report any discrepancies, damages, or issues with shipments or inventory.
- Assist in training new warehouse employees on company procedures and safety guidelines.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance warehouse operations.
Requirements:
- Must be able to walk, stand, move, and carry materials comfortably throughout the workday.
- Fluent in English and Spanish (spoken and written).
- Strong teamwork skills with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.
- Prior warehouse or logistics experience preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs safely and consistently.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Attention to detail and a strong commitment to accuracy.
- Basic computer skills to manage inventory systems and delivery schedules.
- Positive attitude and willingness to take initiative.
- Ability to follow instructions and company policies thoroughly.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
