Job Summary
We are looking for a reliable Sales Floor Associate to help maintain an organized, well-stocked, and customer-ready store. This role is responsible for ensuring products are properly labeled, shelves are filled, and inventory is accurate. The Sales Floor Associate also supports daily store operations by replacing price tags, assisting with restocking, helping with inventory checks, and keeping the sales floor clean and safe. Ideal candidates are detail-oriented, organized, and able to work independently while supporting the team.
Responsibilities
- Maintain a clean, organized, and customer-ready sales floor.
- Ensure all products are properly labeled with accurate price tags and descriptions.
- Replace missing, outdated, or damaged price tags and signage.
- Restock shelves and product areas throughout the day.
- Assist with inventory counts and report low-stock items.
- Monitor product levels and coordinate with the back-stock/warehouse team for replenishment.
- Keep aisles, displays, and work areas neat and free of hazards.
- Assist customers by directing them to products or answering basic questions.
- Follow store procedures for merchandising, safety, and inventory control.
- Report any discrepancies, damaged products, or safety concerns to management.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous retail, warehouse, or stocking experience is a plus but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to lift, carry, and stock merchandise safely.
- Basic math and reading skills for handling price tags and inventory.
- Comfortable using inventory systems or scanners (training can be provided).
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work a flexible schedule as needed.
