The Galt House Hotel is growing and searching for a Kitchen Steward to contribute to the cleanliness of the kitchen by cleaning dishes, silverware, glasses, pots, pans and other cooking utensils used in preparing food.
Work Requirements:
- Ensure the kitchen is clean, well maintained and organized at all times.
- Cleans and sanitizes pots, pans, cups, bowls, utensils and other minor equipment routinely used in the kitchen following established procedures.
- Cleans and maintains floors and work stations in the kitchen.
- Operate pot-washing machinery and maintain a hygienic working environment in accordance with hygiene regulations and company standards.
- Adhere to all sanitation guidelines.
- Collects and removes trash from department areas following established guidelines.
- Other duties as assigned.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear.
- This position requires the ability to occasionally lift office products and supplies, up to 50 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus.
- Standing for hours at a time.
