Responsibilities:
- Greet and check-in patients upon arrival
- Schedule and confirm patient appointments
- Collect and update patient information following HIPAA compliant practices, including insurance details
- Pull insurance authorizations
- Respectfully contribute to a team
- Consistency in performance and desire to continually improve
- Clearly and confidently articulate patient education
- Answer phone calls in a professional and courteous manner
- Help other departments as needed
Skills:
- Consistently detail oriented and organized
- Friendly, outgoing team player
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast paced medical setting
- Accurate typing and math skills
- Reliable attendance
- Pass background check
- Preferred: Medical scheduling and terminology experience
- Spanish or Navajo speaker preferred
Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
