As an Embroidery Operator at GALLS, you will be responsible for ensuring Value Added Services (VAS) are applied to garments accurately, on time, and in accordance with GALLS high-quality standards. You will work cross-functionally to perform various duties, including but not limited to garment prep, sewing, emblem application, embroidery, and auditing. Associates use several pieces of industrial machinery, including sergers, embroidery, and sewing machines.

As an Embroidery Operator at GALLS, you will be responsible for ensuring Value Added Services (VAS) are applied to garments accurately, on time, and in accordance with GALLS high-quality standards. You will work cross-functionally to perform various duties, including but not limited to garment prep, sewing, emblem application, embroidery, and auditing. Associates use several pieces of industrial machinery, including sergers, embroidery, and sewing machines.
What You’ll Do
- Perform all VAS-related functions in an efficient and accurate manner
- Ability to operate various machines, including sewing, embroidery, engraving, and heat press
- Ensure high-quality standards are achieved by thoroughly reading and executing the Work Instruction Document (WID) to include the correct product, size, quantity, color, service to be rendered, and placement locations
- Monitor machine operations to detect malfunctions
- Identify and communicate any job delays and/or problems
- Maintain daily production requirements and standards
- Audit finished VAS against the order ticket to ensure the order is completed accurately
- Maintain a safe and clean work area
- Work as a team to accomplish all productivity goals efficiently and accurately
- Other tasks may be assigned as needed
- High School degree or equivalent
- Previous experience in a tailor shop, alterations, seamstress, embroidery, and/or similar environment strongly desired
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English to understand and execute instructions for daily tasks and to read orders accurately
- Basic computer skills with the ability to learn new software, including Gall’s internal systems
- Good manual dexterity, with an ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time, work in a non-temperature-controlled environment, and lift up to 60lbs, with or without reasonable accommodation
