- Full-time shifts: 7:00 AM – 6:00 PM
- Part-time and full-time positions available
Position Overview
Galloway Village Veterinary is looking for a dependable, hardworking Veterinary Assistant to join our team! This role is essential in supporting our doctors and technicians while ensuring excellent care for our patients and a smooth workflow throughout the clinic.
Responsibilities
- Assisting with medication preparation and handling
- Scheduling appointments and supporting front desk tasks
- Safely restraining pets during exams and procedures
- Assisting veterinarians and technicians during exams and treatments
- Preparing exam rooms and stocking supplies
- Cleaning and sterilizing instruments and equipment
- Maintaining cleanliness of exam rooms, kennels, and clinic areas
- Feeding, walking, and monitoring hospitalized animals
- Assisting with basic wound care and bandaging (under supervision)
- Supporting surgical prep and post-op care (as needed)
- Laundry and general clinic upkeep
