Role Description The Area Service Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in New Orleans, LA, responsible for overseeing service operations within an assigned territory. This role includes managing service technicians, scheduling and coordinating work orders, and ensuring timely and high-quality maintenance, repair, and warranty responses for mechanical systems. The Area Service Manager monitors service performance, supports customer inquiries, and maintains strong relationships with facility owners and stakeholders. Daily responsibilities include reviewing job status, prioritizing resources, supporting technical troubleshooting, enforcing safety and compliance standards, and preparing basic reports on service metrics and costs. The role collaborates closely with internal teams to improve processes, support project handoffs, and maintain consistent service delivery across the area.
Qualifications
- Strong leadership and team management skills, including experience supervising field or service personnel.
- Knowledge of mechanical systems, building operations, or HVAC services, with the ability to understand service needs and solutions.
- Organizational and scheduling skills to manage multiple work orders, priorities, and service territories.
- Customer service and communication skills to build relationships with facility owners and address issues effectively.
- Problem-solving and decision-making abilities to support technical troubleshooting and operational challenges.
