Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable Part-Time Maintenance Technician / Handyman to help maintain a luxury apartment community. This role is ideal for someone with general maintenance and basic HVAC experience who enjoys solving problems, working with their hands, and helping keep a community running smoothly.
What You'll Do
- Complete routine maintenance work orders including plumbing, electrical, and general repairs
- Perform basic HVAC maintenance and troubleshooting (filter changes, thermostat checks, drain lines, etc.)
- Assist with make-readies including minor repairs, painting, and HVAC checks
- Handle general handyman tasks such as repairing doors, replacing fixtures, and small carpentry work
- Help maintain the grounds and common areas to keep the property looking its best
- Work with the team to identify and resolve maintenance issues quickly and efficiently
What We're Looking For
- Experience in maintenance, handyman work, or apartment maintenance
- Basic HVAC knowledge required (EPA certification is a plus)
- Ability to work independently and manage assigned tasks
- Comfortable using hand and power tools
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Reliable and professional when interacting with residents and staff
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to stand, bend, climb stairs, and work indoors and outdoors
