Duties
- Safely transport prepared dishes from the kitchen to guests’ tables, ensuring presentation and temperature are maintained.
- Assist servers by delivering beverages, condiments, and additional food items as needed to support smooth service flow.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of service stations, ensuring all food handling standards are met for safety and quality.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and front-of-house team to coordinate timely delivery of orders.
- Support bussing duties by clearing empty plates and assisting with table resets to prepare for new guests.
- Uphold food safety standards by handling dishes carefully and adhering to proper sanitation procedures.
- Provide excellent guest service by being attentive, friendly, and responsive to guest needs throughout their dining experience.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key!
- Knowledge of food handling safety practices and basic food preparation techniques.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus.
- Experience in banquet service, catering, or hotel hospitality can be advantageous.
- Strong communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members and interact positively with guests.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
