Role Description
This is a part-time (10 hrs/week), unpaid, on-site Summer Intern role based in Seattle, WA. The Summer Intern will assist with day-to-day operations of the gallery, including event coordination, artist support, exhibition setup, and administrative tasks. Responsibilities may also include marketing support, social media management, and community engagement. The intern will play an integral role in maintaining the gallery’s welcoming atmosphere and fostering connections with visitors and participants.
Qualifications
- Current or recent graduate receiving credit for their internship
- Experience in event coordination, scheduling, and organizational tasks
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for engaging with artists, visitors, and the community
- Familiarity with social media platforms and content creation
- A passion for arts, culture, and creating inclusive community environments
- Proficiency in basic software such as Microsoft Office, Google Suite, or other project management tools
- Time management skills and ability to multitask in a dynamic environment
