Duties
- Greet customers warmly and provide outstanding customer service to understand their furniture needs and preferences
- Conduct engaging product demonstrations and explain features to help customers make informed decisions
- Assist with merchandising and stocking furniture displays to create attractive, organized shopping areas
- Process retail sales transactions accurately using POS (Point of Sale) systems, including cash handling and basic math calculations
- Upsell additional products, accessories, or services to maximize sales opportunities
- Maintain knowledge of current inventory levels, product details, and store promotions
- Support in supervising team members when needed, ensuring smooth store operations and excellent customer experiences
Qualifications
- Prior retail sales experience, preferably in furniture or related home goods industries
- Strong communication skills with the ability to connect with diverse customers; bilingual abilities are a plus
- Experience with POS systems, cashiering, retail math, and retail transactions
- Demonstrated supervisory or leadership experience is desirable
- Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills
- Ability to perform merchandising, stocking, and inventory management tasks efficiently
- Familiarity with grocery store experience or similar fast-paced environments is advantageous
