What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dispatcher position at Gallaudet University?
Reporting to the Manager of Communication Services, the Dispatcher assumes the responsibility for the safety and well being of Gallaudet University students,staff,visitor and property, responds timely to incoming voice, relay,text, email and TTY telephone calls,dispatch officers and emergency personnel as appropriate for medical emergencies and service calls; coordinates with DC Emergency Services, interpreting services and other Gallaudet University departments during emergency situation; and helps members of the campus community and all others who may enter the Public Safety Communication Center.

Education:
- High school or equivalent (Required)

- Customer service: 2 years (Preferred)
