Gallatin Center for Rehabilitation and Healing is seeking a compassionate and motivated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our skilled nursing and rehabilitation team. Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) Responsibilities:
- Assist the Occupational Therapist in implementing treatment plans for residents
- Provide therapy services to help patients regain independence in daily living activities
- Document treatment sessions accurately and timely in accordance with facility and regulatory standards
- Monitor and report patient progress or concerns to the Occupational Therapist
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized therapy environment
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Uphold all federal, state, and facility policies and procedures
- Current Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license in the state of Tennessee
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
- Experience in a skilled nursing or rehabilitation setting preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate, patient-focused approach to care
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
