Shop Associate Summary:
As a shop associate, you’ll be responsible for setting up ski and snowboard rental equipment to customers and assist in the sale of outdoor equipment. You’ll be part of a small team that prioritizes customer service and product excellence.
Job Description:
- Meet and consult with customers to provide accurate information and answer questions.
- Perform ski and snowboard rental set-ups: Correctly measure and fit customers, choose equipment based on customer experience and preference, adjust ski/snowboard bindings, and provide instruction on proper use of equipment.
- Keep the rental and retail areas clean, organized, and operating safely.
- Assist in keeping the merchandise look presentable, restocked, and organized.
- Use computer system to process online and in-store rental reservations, assign and adjust repair shop work orders, and complete retail sales.
- Stay flexible & supportive – be ready to collaborate with your team members or work independently, given the situation.
What you’ll bring to the table:
- A love and passion for the outdoors and life in the mountains, including a strong ski and/or snowboard foundation.
- An eye for detail, the ability to multitask, and self motivation.
- Comfortable with computer and POS systems.
- Being a team player and excellent communication skills.
- Able to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs.).
- Former ski shop experience or an extreme willingness to learn – we would be happy to train the right person!

Pay: $23.00 - $30.30 per hour
Expected hours: 30.0 – 40.0 per week
