Overview
At Gallagher Re, we’re looking for a Reinsurance Broking Analyst to join our team and help clients navigate complex risks with confidence. Whether it’s natural catastrophes, cyber threats, or political risks, you’ll play a key role in protecting our clients’ assets and supporting their financial stability.
This is a dynamic role where every day brings new challenges. You’ll collaborate with clients, brokers, and analytical teams to deliver innovative solutions and ensure businesses can thrive even in the face of unexpected losses.
How you'll make an impact
You'll work closely with clients at all level of their organizations, assisting in the marketing, negotiation, and servicing of reinsurance accounts. You'll craft persuasive pitch documents and presentations for both new and existing clients, showcasing your expertise and insights.
You'll analyze data in partnership with actuarial, catastophe modeling, and financial advisory teams, contributing to the structuring, placing, and servicing of reinsurance transactions. You'll also play a key role in working with contracts and supporting the finalization of placements.
As your experience grows, You'll help clients find coverage solutions that align with their budgets and support them during unexpected losses.
About You
Required:
- Typically requires a University Degree and 0 - 1 year prior relevant experience, or equivalent experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applicatoins (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Strong technological and exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Flexiblity to travel to our home office in Rolling Meadows, IL five times for training (all expenses covered).
- Previous internship or work experience in related field.
- Knowledge of or curiousity about the reinsurance broking and risk management industry.

The actual compensation will be influenced by a wide range of factors including, but not limited to previous experience, education, pay market/geography, complexity or scope, specialized skill set, lines of business/practice area, supply/demand, and scheduled hours.
