Duties
- Wash dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment efficiently to uphold high standards of cleanliness and sanitation
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as chopping, assembling ingredients, and portioning to support chefs and kitchen staff
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, including counters, sinks, floors, and storage areas, following health and safety regulations
- Support catering and banquet setups by organizing supplies and ensuring timely delivery of prepared items
- Busing tables and clearing dishes during service to facilitate smooth restaurant operations
- Handle food handling responsibilities with proper hygiene practices in accordance with food safety standards
- Collaborate with kitchen team members to ensure seamless food service during busy hours
Qualifications
- Prior experience in restaurant, hotel, or catering environments is highly desirable
- Knowledge of food handling procedures and sanitation standards
- Experience with food preparation tasks such as chopping or assembling ingredients is a plus
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment cleaning and maintenance
