Position Summary
Galerie Management is seeking an experienced Regional Clinical Specialist to support clinical operations across our senior living communities. This role serves as a key partner to community leadership, providing clinical guidance, coaching, and operational support to Wellness Directors and care teams.
The Regional Clinical Specialist will help ensure the delivery of high-quality resident care, regulatory compliance, and consistent clinical standards across communities. This position will also provide interim clinical leadership during leadership transitions, leaves of absence, or open Wellness Director roles to maintain continuity of care and operational stability.
This role requires a hands-on clinical leader who thrives in a dynamic environment and is passionate about mentoring teams, strengthening systems, and supporting communities in delivering exceptional care.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide ongoing clinical coaching and support to Wellness Directors and clinical teams across Galerie Management communities.
- Serve as a clinical resource and mentor, offering guidance on best practices in resident care, documentation, and regulatory compliance.
- Conduct community visits and clinical reviews to assess care delivery, systems, and operational processes.
- Partner with Executive Directors and leadership teams to support clinical performance and care outcomes.
- Serve as interim Wellness Director when needed due to vacancies, leaves of absence, or leadership transitions.
- Ensure continuity of clinical operations including staffing oversight, care plan management, medication systems, and regulatory compliance.
- Support stabilization of clinical teams and workflows while assisting with the recruitment and onboarding of permanent leaders.
- Monitor compliance with state regulations, company policies, and clinical standards.
- Assist communities in preparing for state surveys and regulatory inspections.
- Review incident reports, clinical documentation, and care practices to ensure quality and regulatory compliance.
- Support communities in implementing corrective action plans when necessary.
- Provide clinical training and professional development to Wellness Directors, nurses, and care staff.
- Support implementation of company clinical initiatives and best practices.
- Assist with orientation and onboarding of new clinical leaders.
- Partner with Operations and Human Resources leadership on clinical staffing strategies and leadership development.
- Identify opportunities to improve clinical systems, workflows, and resident care outcomes.
- Support implementation and optimization of electronic health record and care management systems.
Qualifications
Required
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in good standing.
- Minimum 5–7 years of clinical experience in senior living, assisted living, memory care, or long-term care.
- Experience serving in a clinical leadership role such as Wellness Director, Assistant Wellness Director, or similar position.
- Strong knowledge of state regulations governing assisted living and memory care.
- Ability and willingness to travel regularly between communities.
Preferred
- Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Experience supporting multiple communities or regional clinical operations.
- Demonstrated success in clinical coaching, mentoring, and team development.
- Experience with electronic health record and care management systems.
Work Environment & Travel
This position requires regular travel to Galerie Management communities to provide hands-on support and leadership. Travel may include short-term assignments at communities requiring interim clinical leadership coverage.
