Role: Testing Center of Excellence Leader
Location: Deerfield Beach, FL - Onsite
Role Summary:
We are seeking a strategic and hands-on leader to establish and lead a Testing Center of Excellence (TCoE). This role will define the vision, standards, and execution model for quality engineering across the organization, ensuring scalable, efficient, and modern testing practices that accelerate delivery while improving product quality. The ideal candidate blends technical depth, organizational influence, and transformation leadership, with a strong focus on automation, AI-enabled testing, and measurable business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategy & Vision
- Define and execute the TCoE strategy, roadmap, and operating model.
- Establish a shift from traditional QA to modern Quality Engineering practices.
- Align testing strategy with business goals: speed, quality, cost, and customer experience.
Standardization & Governance
- Create and enforce testing standards, frameworks, and best practices.
- Define KPIs to measure quality maturity and impact.
- Establish governance models for quality across teams.
Automation & Tooling
- Lead the design and adoption of scalable test automation frameworks.
- Evaluate, select, and implement testing tools and platforms.
- Drive CI/CD integration and continuous testing practices.
AI & Innovation
- Introduce AI-driven testing capabilities, including:
- Automated test case generation.
- Test optimization and deduplication.
- Intelligent defect prediction.
- Explore emerging technologies to improve testing efficiency and coverage.
Delivery Enablement
- Partner with engineering and product teams to embed quality early (“shift-left”).
- Support teams in adopting TCoE standards without slowing delivery.
- Enable self-service testing capabilities for development teams.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Act as a trusted advisor to engineering, product, and executive leadership.
- Communicate quality insights, risks, and improvements clearly.
- Influence organizational change toward a quality-first mindset.
Required Qualifications:
- 10 years in software testing/quality engineering.
- 5 years in leadership roles (managing teams or enterprise initiatives).
- Proven experience building or scaling a Testing Center of Excellence.
- Experience driving organizational transformation.
- Experience with AI/ML in testing.
