Job Title: MDM Data Analyst
Location: Chicago, Illinois (Onsite)
Job Summary
- Seeking an experienced MDM Data Analyst with strong expertise in SQL, Master Data Management (MDM), ETL development, and data analysis.
- The role will support IBM MDM modernization initiatives on Azure and contribute to enterprise master data management programs within the financial services domain.
Key Responsibilities
- Write complex SQL queries for data extraction, validation, reconciliation, and performance optimization.
- Analyze business requirements and mapping documents and translate them into scalable end-to-end ETL applications.
- Support IBM MDM modernization initiatives using Azure.
- Work closely with business and technical teams to understand and implement MDM processes and data management solutions.
- Perform data analysis, validation, and reconciliation activities across enterprise data environments.
- Contribute to data integration, automation, and API-based solutions using Python.
Required Skills
- Strong expertise in SQL, including:
- Advanced querying
- Joins
- Data analysis
- Performance optimization
- Strong understanding of MDM fundamentals.
- Experience supporting IBM MDM modernization using Azure.
- Knowledge of core MDM capabilities, including:
- Matching
- Merging
- Survivorship
- Consolidation
- Golden Record management
- Experience designing and supporting end-to-end ETL applications.
- Hands-on experience with Python for:
- Data analysis
- Automation
- API integration
- Data integration
- Experience working in complex enterprise master data environments within financial services.
Preferred Skills
- Capital Markets domain experience.
- Asset Management industry experience.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an MDM Data Analyst or in a similar data management role.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working with enterprise-scale master data management solutions.
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Experience in financial services environments is preferred.
