We are seeking a friendly and dedicated part time retail associate to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting customers, maintaining store appearance, and ensuring a seamless shopping experience. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic, reliable, and committed to providing an outstanding customer experience.
Retail Associate Responsibilities and Duties
- Greet customers and assist them with product selection and questions
- Operate Square POS, handle transactions accurately
- Maintain store cleanliness and appearance
- Restock shelves and ensure merchandise is displayed in a pleasing way
- Monitor inventory levels and report discrepancies
- Assist in receiving, unpacking and intake of shipments
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures consistently
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals
Retail Associate Qualifications and Skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic math and computer proficiency
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Customer-focused attitude with a friendly demeanor
- Flexibility to work weekends, and some holidays
Education and Experience Requirements
- High school diploma or current student
- Previous retail or customer service experience is a plus
- On-the-job training will be provided
7-21 hours per week. Competitive pay, generous employee discount, PTO and bonus potential. This position has an immediate start date.
