Clinical Supervisor, CMA-LPN

Summary/Objective:
To efficiently coordinate and maintain the practice’s resources to provide the highest standard of care.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
• Supervision of Medical Assistants. Ensure assistants are following job descriptions and standard of care/operating procedures established by the practice. Provide training and guidance to new staff members and existing members as needed regarding procedures of the practice. Effectively communicate with staff and ensure continuity between them.
Essential Functions:
• Maintain flexibility to meet site, staff, and patient needs.
• Assist with the completion and maintenance of clinical policies and procedures. After receiving adequate training to complete requirement.
• Responsible for preparing, participating, and cleaning surgical room and equipment. Reviews schedule on a weekly basis to ensure supplies and staffing are available for office surgeries.
• Monitors daily, weekly, and monthly checklist for completion in a timely manner.
Other Duties/Responsibilities:
• Adhere to all OSHA, CLIA and HIPAA standards
• Demonstrates the ability to stay organized when faced with unexpected job assignments.
• Recognize and demonstrate cost-effective measures in utilization of supplies and equipment.
• Able to perform the duties listed on the Clinical Support CMS Job Description when needed.
• Identify and make process improvement recommendations to Manager.
• Maintain strictest confidentiality of all company records, including verbal and written records.

• Ability to manage multiple and simultaneous responsibilities.

Education:
• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Certified Medical Assistant, LPN or RN required.
Experience:
• Three to five years’ medical experience preferred.
• Medical experience and terminology recommended but not required.
• Must be computer literate.
