Role Description

This is a part-time on-site role for an Assistant Medical Director located in Coral Gables, FL. The Assistant Medical Director will be responsible for overseeing clinical operations, providing medical and psychiatric care, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, and ensuring adherence to evidence-based treatment protocols. The role will also involve mentoring and supervising clinical staff, participating in case discussions, and contributing to program development and quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Medical degree (MD or DO) with board certification in Psychiatry
• Experience in mental health treatment, eating disorders, and dual diagnosis
• Strong leadership, mentorship, and supervisory skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team
• Commitment to providing compassionate and individualized patient care
• Knowledge of evidence-based treatment protocols and quality improvement
• Licensure OR eligible to practice medicine in the state of Florida; note that we are not in a hurry, so eligibility is OK!
