Role Description
This is a part-time on-site role for an Assistant Medical Director located in Coral Gables, FL. The Assistant Medical Director will be responsible for overseeing clinical operations, providing medical and psychiatric care, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, and ensuring adherence to evidence-based treatment protocols. The role will also involve mentoring and supervising clinical staff, participating in case discussions, and contributing to program development and quality improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- Medical degree (MD or DO) with board certification in Psychiatry
- Experience in mental health treatment, eating disorders, and dual diagnosis
- Strong leadership, mentorship, and supervisory skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team
- Commitment to providing compassionate and individualized patient care
- Knowledge of evidence-based treatment protocols and quality improvement
- Licensure OR eligible to practice medicine in the state of Florida; note that we are not in a hurry, so eligibility is OK!
