Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Journeyman Painter located in Bakersfield, CA. The Journeyman Painter will be responsible for preparing surfaces, applying paint and coatings, managing painting and decorating projects, and ensuring high-quality finishes in various residential or commercial settings. The role also includes tasks such as operating spray painting equipment and maintaining tools and materials to ensure efficiency and safety while working on-site.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Paint application and general Painting techniques
- Experience in Painting and Decorating, with a focus on detail and quality
- Knowledge of Coatings and their appropriate uses
- Ability to operate Spray Painting tools and equipment safely and effectively
- Strong understanding of safety protocols and procedures on a job site
- Attention to detail, reliability, and excellent time management skills
- Previous professional experience as a painter and familiarity with construction work environments
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in painting or related fields are a plus
