The Asset Management Specialist position is not a client facing position, although client contact is a daily occurrence through phone and email. The Asset Management Specialist will work approximately 40 hours per week. Overtime may be required on occasion. This is an in-office position.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Set up and maintain client accounts.
- Compile and complete client, custodian, and firm paperwork.
- Reconcile account information from custodian.
- Run daily reporting of transactions and investment activity.
- Execute account trades.
- Provide general support for portfolio/investment tasks and special projects.
- Assist Senior Financial Planners and Staff Financial Planners as needed.
- Maintain and manage client relationships/respond to client needs.
Qualifications
- College degree preferred.
- At least 3 years of professional work experience.
- Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft 365 products.
- Organized, detail-oriented, ability to multi-task.
- Must be a team player, collaborative, and able to work well with others.
- Desire and ability to work successfully in a small office environment.
