What are the responsibilities and job description for the Account Manager position at GALE Pacific Limited?
We’re looking for an experienced Account Manager to join our Commercial team, driving growth across key accounts while identifying new business opportunities.
This is a key role focused on building strong, long-term customer relationships and delivering consistent commercial outcomes. You’ll take ownership of a portfolio of accounts, working closely with customers to understand their needs, provide practical solutions, and spot opportunities to expand our offering.
Internally, you’ll collaborate with teams across sales, supply chain, and operations to ensure we deliver on what we promise and continue to strengthen our position in the market.
The role:
- Manage and grow a portfolio of commercial accounts
- Act as the key point of contact for customers, ensuring a high level of service and responsiveness
- Identify and convert new business opportunities through proactive lead generation
- Support customers with product advice, pricing, orders, and issue resolution
- Maintain accurate account and pipeline data in CRM
- Contribute to sales forecasting and support inventory planning
- Work cross-functionally with internal teams to deliver on customer expectations
- Provide market and competitor insights to support business strategy
The successful candidate should have:
- 3 years’ experience in account management, inside sales, or customer-facing roles
- Strong relationship-building and communication skills
- Commercial mindset with the ability to identify growth opportunities
- Comfortable working across multiple stakeholders and teams
- High attention to detail with strong organisational skills
- Experience with CRM systems (Salesforce or similar)
- Background in industrial, manufacturing, or technical products highly regarded
