Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform physical examinations, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for each individual patient. Review and analyze lab results and diagnostic records
- Perform surgical intervention as needed
- Transition patients to overnight care as needed and communicate effectively with referral hospitals in order to ensure continuity of patient care
- Document patient medical and surgical records with detail
- Develop a rapport with clients, understand their desires, clearly communicate plans and findings
- Attend virtual team meetings to ensure consistent communication & updates within the organization and hospital
The Candidate
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from an accredited university
- 2-4 years of experience, preferred
- Licensure in good standing to practice in the state where the hospital is located
- Compassionate team player with a positive attitude
- Enthusiastic about sharing your knowledge and expertise with other DVMs and team members
- Proven leadership skills and a desire to build long-term relationships
- Professional-level verbal and written communication
- Commitment to continuous professional and personal improvement for you and your team
- Excellent time-management and delegation abilities
