Youth Sports Operations Manager (Part-Time)

Galaxy Sports is a growing youth sports organization serving children ages 3–12 through preschool sports, after-school enrichment programs, weekend leagues, clinics, camps, and community events.
Our mission is to create "An Experience Out of This World!" We're looking for an energetic, dependable leader who wants to grow with our company and help expand Galaxy Sports throughout South Florida.
Position Overview
This is a hands-on leadership position responsible for helping oversee daily operations, growing new school partnerships, supporting coaches, and ensuring our programs run smoothly. No two days are the same, so we're looking for someone who enjoys being active, organized, and taking initiative.
ResponsibilitiesProgram Operations
- Manage weekend league and clinic operations.
- Open and close program venues.
- Set up and break down sports equipment.
- Ensure games and practices run on time.
- Support coaches and resolve on-site issues.
School & Business Development
- Visit preschools and elementary schools to introduce Galaxy Sports.
- Build relationships with school directors and administrators.
- Help secure new preschool and after-school program partnerships.
- Attend school open houses and community events.
Marketing & Community Outreach
- Place and maintain roadside signs.
- Deliver flyers throughout the community.
- Represent Galaxy Sports professionally at events.
- Help increase registrations through local outreach.
Staff Leadership
- Assist with hiring, scheduling, and supporting coaches.
- Monitor coach performance and uphold company standards.
- Help maintain a fun, positive environment for staff and families.
Administrative Support
- Assist with registrations, rosters, and customer service.
- Help organize equipment and inventory.
- Complete other operational tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
- Leadership or management experience is preferred.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Self-motivated and dependable.
- Comfortable working with children, parents, and school administrators.
- Reliable transportation is required.
- Available to work evenings and weekends as needed.
- Able to lift and transport sports equipment.
Schedule
- 20–30 hours per week (minimum 20 hours)
- Combination of weekday administrative work, school visits, marketing, and weekend league operations.
