A Software Engineer role focused on delivering high-impact operational and analytical data solutions across a large enterprise environment. The position centers on modernizing and enhancing the API, business rules, and database layers of a unified associate data platform that serves as a central source of truth for employee information used across customer-facing functions. The work involves building scalable, cloud-native services using technologies such as Java, REST APIs, microservices, SQL, PL/SQL, and distributed systems patterns.
Candidates should bring at least five years of experience in Java application development, microservices engineering, and complex SQL design, along with hands-on exposure to AWS services including Lambda, Glue, Step Functions, and related cloud-native components. Additional experience with relational databases such as Oracle and PostgreSQL, CI/CD tools, high-volume API traffic, and messaging technologies like Kafka or Kinesis is highly valuable. Success in this role requires strong problem-solving abilities, adaptability to new technologies, and clear communication skills.
