Postgres Developer

Required Skills

• 5 years of hands-on experience as a PostgreSQL DBA.
• Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL architecture and internals.
• Experience installing, configuring, upgrading, and patching PostgreSQL databases.
• Knowledge of indexing, partitioning, vacuum, autovacuum, and database maintenance.
• Experience with database monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana.
• Proficiency in Linux/Unix administration.
• Strong SQL and PL/SQL programming skills.
• Experience with shell scripting (Bash/Python).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS RDS PostgreSQL, Azure Database for PostgreSQL, or Google Cloud SQL.
• Understanding of database security, user management, and auditing.
